Our Story

YumYumBao began in October 2024, created by the two of us with a simple idea in mind.

Living in the UK, we often found mornings filled with cold sandwiches and busy schedules — especially during long, grey London days. What we missed was something warm. Something comforting. Something that felt like home.

For us, steamed buns are more than food. They are tied to memories of family tables and unhurried mornings. We wanted to make that warmth accessible — not just for special occasions, but for everyday life.

Every bun is made by hand, using simple ingredients and no artificial additives. We stay true to the flavours we grew up with, keeping the taste authentic rather than adapting it beyond recognition. The goal is not to reinvent the bun, but to bring it into modern routines — ready from the freezer, hot in minutes.

As we grow, we hope YumYumBao becomes known as a breakfast brand — one that brings warmth to busy mornings and a little comfort to the day ahead.
